Other systems send notices whenever the customer has *any* mail. But you know your customers, and you know when they would actually appreciate a notice -- if they receive a package, or a check, or a personal letter, or their mailbox is full, etc.
It is fact of life that customers routinely block, blacklist or for some other reason do not receive notices that you send. Our back-end email processing automatically makes corrections to your customer list to keep you from sending alerts to people who don't want them, and to alert you if your notices are ending up as spam. This is important because it negatively affects your business to send email to blocked accounts.
